Scone Thistle can confirm that striker Sean Hastie has completed a move to Highland League side Brechin City this evening.
Having been recommended to Brechin City by Scone manager Charlie King, Sean has impressed City manager Gavin Price at training and scored on his Brechin debut as a trialist last weekend against Fortmartine United.
Sean joined the Jaggies in July 2021 having previously played for St. Johnstone youths, Newburgh FC and Letham U18s.
In his debut season for Scone Thistle, Sean scored 17 League and Cup goals, before last season picking up an impressive 29 goals along with the club’s Player of the Year and the Players' Player of the Year awards at the end of season 2022/23.
This season has seen Sean score an additional 10 goals along with a handful of Man of the Match performances.
